Was reading different blogs on my reader and I found this idea from Shelby Stitcher. I think I am going to try and make one of these. It is called a Chatelaine and is to be used by hand quilters.
I have just got back from a trip to Canada visiting my sister. Hence nothing to show today here. I sure am hoping that I can get back into the sewing room soon.

I'm just motoring along here. This quilt was started last summer and it is finally sandwiched and bound . The pattern was found in a Fons and Porter magazine and was named Imperial diamonds.
The second photo shows what it looked like before the final borders were added. Actually, I didn't add the last border that the pattern called for as the quilt was pretty big by then.
This second quilt was called Monochrome but I just didn't stay with the layout. I had a request for a "man" colored quilt with blue, grey and black. With that in mind it started out looking like this:And then to this,
